Research is the key to preventing vision disorders and blindness. The Center for Vision Research (CVR) relies on the support and generosity of those who value our mission of enhancing the research and training efforts of the basic and clinical vision scientists in the Central New York area while striving to find the causes and cures for blinding disorders.

In making a donation to the CVR, you join others who share a commitment to one day finding the cure for blindness.

Don't let another moment go by...

Basic and clinical research is providing us with many of the clues necessary to solve the causes and cures for blinding diseases, but further study is needed before we can successfully treat and prevent blinding disorders. Current federal funding for research is inadequate. An increase in funding from our government and the private sector is desperately needed to continue ongoing research into the causes and potential cures for all blinding disorders.

Your gift - and that of the next person (and the next, and the next) -

will provide vital financial resources for the world-renowned researchers at

the Center for Vision Research.
